KRIS HOPPER LIFTED chairs up to her father-in-law, Jim Hopper, who neatly stacked them in his pickup bed. Jim said he plans to recycle the chairs and believes still usable items are better put to use than to be dumped in the landfill. That’s where most of the items that were not snatched up by local residents will eventually go.
