    Of bricks, boards and mortar . . .
    And 100 years

    Of bricks and boards and mortar are buildings built.
    For Butterfield-Odin’s 1908 school building — the school campus’ central cog — those building materials have stood the test of time for 100 years.
    The stately brick schoolhouse is celebrating its 100th birthday this October.

    Sunday evening shooting damages windows at MLPS
    Mt. Lake Public School District 173 is offering a reward of $300 to anyone who can provide the district with the identity of the individual, or individuals, responsible for damage done to the school on Sunday evening, September 28, 2008.
