    CURB APPEAL
    At a recent City Council meeting, concerned residents who live on Second and Sixth avenues asked what was being done about fixing the settling problems that followed construction work nearly two years ago. Still, the project has been moving forward at a brisk clip, particularly the bridge expansion at Butterfield.

    A fair affair
    The Watonwan County
    Fair promises to be bigger and better this year with added attractions for the public. New attractions include carnival rides from J&K Amusements, a Minnesotabased carnival company.


    Bids to dig well open
    Details for the upcoming well project and other related improvements are emerging as preliminary estimates have been discussed at a recent city council meeting.
    Bids for digging the new well will open this Friday.
