    A note from Mt. Lake City Clerk, Wendy Meyer: (Update) It has been determined that all asphalt on Prince St. will be removed and replaced. This work will also be done this week.

    Tomorrow (7-29) SMC, the asphalt company, intends to surface:
    12th St. from 6th Ave. to 3rd Ave.
    4th Ave. from Golf Course Rd. to 11th St.
    8th St. from 3rd to 4th Ave.

    It has been determined that all the asphalt on 2nd Ave. from 12th St. to Co. Rd. #1 will removed and replaced. That work begins Tues. morning 7-29 and will continue through the week.

    Baby's death at Butterfield draws statewide media attention
    A girl's 911 call, a baby's death and a pending investigation have drawn the statewide media spotlight to Butterfield.

    Bikes near completion, racks still in progress
    The City of Mt. Lake approved an agreement with Albert Quiriam to inspect, repair and maintain the abandoned bicycles donated by the City for use in the Mt. Lake Foundation Bike Project. Quiriam will be paid a fee of $30 per week plus $30 per bicycle repair.
