County to purchase equipment for highway, landfill departments

It appears Cottonwood County departments will make a few more key purchases as 2017 comes to a close.

County commissioners recently approved requests from Public Works Director/Highway Engineer to purchase a mastic machine and dozer blade at an expense not to exceed $55,000. In addition, the board authorized the solid waste department to purchase a new Ranger (ATV) and grapple at an expense not to exceed $25,000.
